Chapter 1: Library rules

1. Every human book represents a certain topic of expertise, identified by the table of content at their table or worn on their person.

2. Library guests are encouraged to have discussions with the human books that interest them, ask them questions and share experiences.

3. The discussion is meant to be informal; the process is meant to be fluid and unstructured.

4. Human books are encouraged to share resources, business cards etc… as appropriate. If you have a website, consider having a QR code participants can scan, to reduce our environmental footprint.

5. Please limit your discussion to 5 minutes.

6. Personal details/information should not be shared.

7. Other library guests may join conversations if the topic is useful for them.

8. Librarians will be circulating to ensure rules are respected and to facilitate the process.
